Ann Marie Kuvik- Coach Winter Spring 2017

Ann Marie Kuvik brings a wide range of experiences as a rower and a coach.  Ann Marie served as a coach at Notre Dame for 2 years and William Penn Charter School for six years – including two as their head coach.  During her tenure as head coach, the Penn Charter team enjoyed a good bit of success, with multiple medals in City Championships, Stotesbury Cup, and SRAA Nationals.  Prior to her tenure at Penn Charter, Ann Marie served as an assistant coach at the Baldwin School for ten seasons, and as an assistant coach at Temple University  for two seasons, with one year as an assistant coach at Mount St. Joseph's Academy.  Additionally, Ann Marie has been the director of the City of Philadelphia Department of Recreation’s Learn to Row summer camp for 17 years. Ann Marie rowed competitively at Temple, and recently served as a fall assistant coach at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy. 

Ann Marie has worked as a middle school and high school science teacher for 19 years, and is currently  teaching at Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia.  Ann Marie holds a bachelors degree in science education from Temple and dual masters degrees from St. Joseph's University in health administration and education.

Tess Cremers- Assistant Coach Winter and Spring 2017- Tess is a member of Undine Barge Club and rowed Div 1 for Temple University (2015-Dec 2016) and Owen J. Roberts High School (2011-2014). She is a member of the Temple University Class of 2018, majoring in Biochemistry.  She has coached with the Philadelphia City Rowing (Summer 2016) as Assistant Rowing Coach and Swim Instructor and was a  Math and Science Tutor at Penn Treaty High School (2014).


Rebecca McCool-  Coach Fall 2016, Assistant Coach 2014 Spring, 2015 and 2016 Seasons-Rebecca is a graduate of Drexel University, with a degree in physical therapy. She rowed for Mount Saint Joseph Academy for four years in high school and then at Drexel University.



Liz Euiler Heart Crew Coach for 2013-2016 Seasons

Liz Euiler joined  Heart Crew as Coach in Fall 2013. She graduated from from Brock University in Canada where she received an MS in Applied Health Science, Kinesiology. Her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology was from University of Massachusetts Amherst. Liz rowed throughout High School and was a member of UMass Division 1 Women’s Rowing team from Fall 2007 through Spring 2011. She was a member of Brock University Varsity Women’s Rowing Team from Fall 2011 through Spring 2012. Among her rowing achievements are First Team All Atlantic 10 (2011),  UMass Rowing Novice of the Year (2007-2008),   Atlantic-10 Champion Team title (2009) and Individual boat title  (2008, 2009), 3 times USRowing Club National Champion  (2009, 2011),  2 times USRowing Collegiate National Champion (2010), 2 times Dad Vail Champion (2010, 2011), 3 time Royal Canadian Henley Regatta Champion (2011, 2012) and 3 times Co-Athlete of the week (UMass 5/16/11; Brock 10/02/11; Brock 9/30/12). Liz is currently an Elite member of Vesper, continuing to compete in national and international regattas.



 Sean Rader Coach for Fall 2013 Season    

Sean Rader rowed as Captain for the Collingswood, NJ High School Crew Team in 2006-2007 and later rowed at the University of Delaware from 2007-2011,  where he was a 4 year member of the University of Delaware Men’s Crew Lightweight Squad. Rowing for U of D, he won golds at the 2008 Dad Vail Regatta in the Men’s Freshman Lightweight 8+, at the 2009 Dad Vail Regatta &  at the 2009 SIRA in the Men’s Varsity Lightweight 8+. Sean also won gold in the Men’s Lightweight 2- at the 2009 USRowing National Championship. Sean is a current Elite member of Vesper Boat Club, hoping to train for the US National team. His degree is in English with a focus on professional writing. He assisted Heart Crew as Assistant Coach during the 2013 Spring season, coaching the Novice 4X to a silver medal in the Philadelphia City Championships. 


  Kelsey Hudome: Crew Coach 2012-2013

Kelsey Hudome, a 2007 graduate of CDSSH, is the 2012-2013 Crew Coach. Kelsey rowed for SHRA from 2004 to 2007, and then at Clemson University, where she gradua ted in 2010 with a major in Sociology and a minor in Athletic Leadership Education. She helped Heart Crew as Assistant Coach during the 2011-2012 Season.
